About Us
The Club organizes educational, social and recreational events during the year and emphasizes its commitment to the transportation community through its annual award of merit-based college scholarships to students who have designated transportation, logistics, supply chain management or a related field as their major field of interest.
How To Join
Traffic Club membership is open to anyone involved in transportation. Our purpose is to encourage and protect trade and commerce … by bringing together those engaged in transportation of freight and passengers so that their mutual interests will be advanced.

Supply Chain Management Scholarship Award
Our scholarship attracts the highest achieving undergraduate students to our club's mission to promote professionalism in the fields of transportation and supply-chain management. The scholarship program continues to provide a valuable resource for college students as well as to Club members having recruiting responsibilities. Scholarship applicants have gone on to find employment, internships and networking opportunities with prominent companies whose executives are members of the Traffic Club.

Networking
The Traffic club of Pittsburgh provides several networking opportunities through out the year for our members. These events help expand their expertise knowledge in the transportation field, build relationships in a rapidly changing marketplace.
Giving Back to Our Community
Since inception of the Traffic Club of Pittsburgh merit-based Scholarship Program, over $560,000 has been awarded to college students, even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our members are extremely proud of this scholarship.
Promoting Our Region and Industry
Southwestern Pennsylvania remains a logistics hub to this day, as it has been for over 100 years. Our organization acts as an advocate for our region and the thousands of jobs that the transportation and logistics industry is responsible for.

Our History
On December 8, 1902 in the Frick Building offices of the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, industrialists and railrod leaders came together to form a single organization that would promote the traffic business of the Pittsburgh area.
